I've done a lot of surf travel, in my relatively short surf career

Yet I've never managed to get outstanding photos on any of my trips.

Not much in the world beats walking out the front door, jumping directly in the (warm) water, paddling out to epic lefts...surf an hour (or 2) (or 3) (or 4)...catch your last wave, surf it all the way back to the doorstep, walk on in, and rinse off in a nice outdoor shower.

And don't forget, open the fridge, and get a cold cerveza. Plus lime.

Speaking of the birds...

this BLOG has gone to THE BIRDS.

Whoa! Checked the PP surf cam and it was a full blown Alfred Hitchcock-esque BIRD ATTACK! Right after capturing this, a set came, the birds left, and it was back to the usual scene. But whoa how would you have liked to have been in the middle of that!!!!
